On April 14, 2026, The Butterfly Effect Association of Canada (“The Butterfly Effect”) will host its Inaugural Spring Gala – an evening dedicated to community, compassion, and the belief that no one should face the organ transplant journey alone.

This first signature fundraising event marks the public launch of the Butterfly Effect and brings together corporate partners, healthcare advocates, families, and supporters united by a shared commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by organ transplantation.

The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and silent auction, along with heartfelt stories from individuals and families whose lives have been shaped by transplantation.

Why This Gala Matters

An organ transplant impacts far more than the individual patient. It touches families, caregivers, and entire support systems. This Gala exists to further the Butterfly Effect’s charitable purpose: promoting health by supporting individuals diagnosed with health conditions requiring an organ transplant, as well as their caregivers and families.

Funds raised will support programs that help ease the financial, practical, and emotional challenges associated with transplantation, including:

  • Supportive financial relief for individuals experiencing health-related hardship
  • Supportive health services and/or products to assist throughout treatment and recovery
  • Supportive health resources to help patients and caregivers understand diagnoses, navigate transplantation, and manage the impacts of care

This evening lays the foundation for long-term charitable work rooted in dignity, care, and connection.
